Fort Myers Acupuncture and Massage was established by Massage Therapist and Yoga Teacher Brian "Doc" Healy in 1993.
For over 30 years, Brian and the staff of Fort Myers Acupuncture and Massage have performed thousands of high quality massage treatments for the residents and visitors of Sanibel, Captiva and Fort Myers. Fort Myers Acupuncture and Massage specializes in treating stress, tension and pain, especially neck, shoulder, and lower back issues. Our primary healing modalities are Therapeutic Massage, Eastern Bodywork, Aromatherapy, Herbology, Nutrition, AcuPoint Therapy and other treatments from Traditional Chinese Medicine such as Tuina. Our outcall division specializes in bringing the relaxation to you! Music, oils, massage table and more brought right to your location!

Brian "Doc" Healy

Brian is a Florida licensed, nationally board certified Acupuncturist.
He specializes in treating musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction, headaches & migraines, gastrointestinal disorders and more.
An award winning Massage Therapist, licensed since 1994, specializing in Medical Massage, Orthopedic Massage and MyoFascial Unwinding.
He is a certified Yoga & Meditation Teacher with over 20 years experience teaching ongoing classes, workshops and retreats in several styles of yoga and meditation.
Ashley Donato

With over fifteen years of experience in Chinese Medicine, Ashley brings an additional wealth of knowledge and experience to our practice.
Ashley graduated from Texas Health and Science University in Austin, Texas, and is nationally and state board certified to practice in Florida, Louisiana and New York. As you’ll come to experience, her dedication to Holistic Wellness is truly remarkable as she treats a wide range of health conditions, from stress and pain to autoimmune diseases.
One of Ashley’s specialties is her gentle needling style, which is usually painless, very relaxing and highly effective. She has traveled extensively, educating and treating individuals around the globe with this incredible approach, and she is extremely excited to continue serving right here in our local community of Iona, Sanibel, Captiva & Fort Myers.
With specializations in Acupuncture for Geriatric patients, Oncology, Behavioral Health, Veterans, and Women’s health, Ashley delivers personalized care to meet your unique needs or concerns.
Jovan Draine

Jovan has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2008…almost 16 years. She was born and raised in NY and has 3 beautiful children.
From a very young age, Jovan held a strong desire to help others. Exploring various paths within the healthcare industry, a pivotal moment came upon touring the Florida Academy of Massage, where it all clicked!
Guided by an exceptional mentor, who encouraged outside-the-box thinking, she pursued advanced techniques post-graduation, focusing on medical and orthopedic massage. Collaborating with many incredible therapists and doctors along her path, Jovan discovered a passion for addressing conditions such as stiff neck, piriformis syndrome and frozen shoulder.
Witnessing clients’ satisfaction with their progress brings her immense joy. Additionally, if you just need some relaxation or an overall deep tissue massage, she loves doing those, too!
A special thing about Jovan is that she remains dedicated to expanding her knowledge and skill-base to deliver optimal results. She prides herself deeply in being extremely in tune with the human body, and looks forward to meeting your individual needs.
Valarie Olsen

Valarie Olsen is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience working with families in Lee County. She has worked extensively in the fields of education, trauma, child abuse and neglect, domestic violence and parenting issues. She specializes in stress and anger management, family conflict, family of origin issues, loss and grief, life transitions and experiences of trauma, including PTSD, anxiety and depression. Valarie is also a wellness coach, yoga teacher, and Ayurveda specialist. She encourages clients to develop daily routines that move them toward the healthier lifestyle they desire.
Valarie is a long time resident of Southwest Florida, attending both high school and college locally. She and her husband raised four children in Fort Myers and now enjoy spending time with their four young grandchildren. Valarie attended Edison Community College, University of South Florida and Florida Gulf Coast University earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling. She spent the majority of her career working in the field of child welfare at a local non-profit agency that specialized in the treatment and prevention of child abuse. Valarie has been licensed as a mental health counselor since 2012.
Valarie’s interests include practicing and teaching Yoga and Ayurveda. Valarie has been a student of yoga since the 1990’s and to studied to become a yoga teacher in 2011 and an Ayurveda Yoga Specialist in 2018. She has taught yoga alongside her counseling practice with the intention of combining the aspects of yoga with western psychology and mental health counseling. Valarie can work with clients using the wisdom traditions of both eastern (Yoga, EFT tapping, Mindfulness and Ayurveda) and western (such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused) approaches to health and well-being. Her approach is one of wellness and compassion, keeping the focus on the counseling relationship and encouraging clients to tap into their own inner wisdom and recognize their ability to heal.
Amy Sbarra
Licensed Massage Therapist #MA26372
Amy has been a Massage Therapist since 1998.
Experienced in trigger point, neuromuscular, somatic, bamboo and hot stone therapies. She also likes to incorporate essential oils and other healing techniques into her work.
An experienced spa owner and healer, her motivation is always to make a difference and put smiles on faces. Amy is excited to be part of the Sanibel Wellness team and what the future holds.
Dale Szymanski
LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPIST #ma
Dale is a graduate of the Wisconsin School of Massage Therapy and is licensed in Florida & Wisconsin.
His approach to massage is steeped in an expansive education which allows him to customize each session for his guests.
Dale is certified in many modalities of massage including Hot Stone, Deep Tissue, Warm Bamboo Fusion, Sciatica Relief, Aromatherapy, reflexology & more. He is excellent in working with guests who require a therapeutic massage to relieve pain associated with sciatica, plantar fasciitis, sports & work injuries and rheumatoid arthritis. His foot reflexology techniques are outstanding.
Dale is also a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
When he isn’t table-side, Dale enjoys listening to music, traveling, beach days and family time.
